The pavilion downtown dubai

The pavilion is a cool new artspace in dowtown Dubai. If you love art, films, books, vertical gardens, or even shisha ;), check it out!

This is what I spotted in the Program section on their website. I know like it looks like I'm imagining things ;), but there's a line in a tiny tiny black font saying which day the post was made.

Sorry - your eyes will hurt after this!

I've been gone for a while but I am back with a site that must be shared. I'm sorry about any pain you will suffer from after visiting this site. If it's any consolation, the delivery menu isn't any better :).

My main comment is that the banner on the right has images flipping at a crazy rate, probably to deliver the concept of 'multi-food', but please, please find another way to show this!!! What's the point of putting up images if the viewer will hardly be able to rest his/her eyes on any of them? Unless this is one of those things where you stare for 5 seconds and then close your eyes and see something - no...I don't think so!

Anyway, I also found a typo in the menu which says: sandwitches instead of sandwiches. I definitely don't want a witch for dinner. At least not tonight.

Ok, I'm off to my mail on my broom. Multifood will be informed.
Yes, this site needs some cleaning. Preferably before the dishes tonight.

And...the DCL's back!

I've been away for a while. I've been scheming for the full-fledged DCL website with a portfolio of designs and perhaps some scented goods ;). I also noticed that though some are grateful when you spot an error or two in their website, doing the actual 'clean-up' won't always happen...Many times more than not, that's because the development of the site is complicated or well because 'someone developed it ages ago and he has the files...and well...who could be bothered to track him down!'

But anyway, I will keep doing what I do, and hopefully it helps some!



And in the mean time, here are some images of what I've been up to. I am not only a function of a popped out eye :).

Online House Visit_MTV Arabia

I visited the English version of MTV Arabia's site today. It's actually still in Beta (just like this site!), so I thought it might help to send over a report with whatever little things my eye could spy.

Do check out their site. They have lots of fun things going on!

Testing criteria:
1- Functionality: 9/10
2- Cleanliness: 7/10
3- Aesthetic value: 7/10 ( I think the changing backgrounds are interesting as separate elements but many of them fight for attention with the main content).

For example, as seen below, the 'MTV Push' banner is lost somewhere between a colourful background (this background changes) and the main content area.
